Accessibility statement
refuse-collection.org/ aims to make refuse collection and recycling information easier to read and use across devices. We work toward clear headings, readable typography, mobile-friendly layout, descriptive links and plain-language explanations.
Accessibility goals
- Readable layouts on desktop and mobile.
- Clear section headings and logical structure.
- Descriptive links and practical labels.
- Tables that remain usable on small screens.
- Simple wording for complex council-service topics.
External websites
Council forms, GOV.UK services, payment portals, map embeds and third-party tools are outside our control. If an external official service has accessibility problems, contact that service provider or council directly.
Report an accessibility issue
Email contact@refuse-collection.org with the page URL, device/browser, assistive technology if relevant and a short explanation of the issue. We will review problems affecting our own website where possible.
Information-only editorial notice
refuse-collection.org/ is an independent UK refuse collection information website. We write for educational and public-information purposes only. Final collection days, missed-bin rules, recycling instructions, garden waste fees, bulky-waste charges, assisted collection rules, clinical waste arrangements, enforcement notices and local service updates must always be confirmed with the relevant local council or official waste authority before a resident takes action.
